How long were you relaxed? How long have you been natural?
I got my first relaxer when I was 12 years old. I begged my mom to let me get my hair relaxed because everyone in the 6th grade had their hair relaxed and I was the only one still rocking braids with barrettes and ribbons and what not. It was embarrassing then but now I realize that my mom was right and I should have never relaxed my hair. It was so thick and pretty lol. I have been natural since July 17, 2009. That was the day of my big chop.
