- I've been natural for over 12 years and decided to loc approximately 8 years ago, however, I wasn't mentally ready for the journey. I had a complex in which I cared how other people would view my hair. Over the years, I've contemplated locing and made my final decision on April 16, 2010. I'm at a place where I love myself 100% and have embraced the loc journey and look forward to what to come.
This is the best decision I've made next to marrying my soul mate and its feels so good to know that my spouse is dedicated to this process as well. I thank the Lord that people are willing to share their journey as it has and is currently assisting me with mine.
